TedStarted on the guitar at age six. Got his first electric guitar at eight. Studied classical piano at nine. Vocal training at ten, started on the drums at twelve. First guitar lessons at twenty five, studying Jazz under Barry Moreton who was the director of Jazz at the Queensland conservatorium of music.Played in several bands when he was a teenager and in his early twenties. Learned to play the Didgeridoo at 28 and the African drums at 30. Influences, Loves lead guitar solos, and believes that every song should have at least two.Favorite guitarists: Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Eric Clapton when he is "Plugged" as opposed to "Unplugged", Eric Johnson and Jeff Healey. Favorite style of music is anything "Clever and Rhythmic". |
